Laura and I participated in the Color Me Rad 5k this past weekend. She mentioned this to me several months ago and talked me into doing this, telling me we would have several months to prepare and be ready. We needless to say, we did about as much walking as we did running. I probably weighed her down and kept her from running more than we did...but we had a blast doing it!
Luckily, it was very overcast, but it was still hot!

If felt like we got doused a good bit in color, but after running into some other friends there, it looks like we missed a few color stations :)
Afterwards, we headed up to Beef's for a bite to eat and more and more race participants kept showing up that most of the patio was covered in "color".
Hopefully we can participate in the next one that comes to town!

I'm so glad you had a good time! I signed us up for the Run or Dye event that's coming to Tri-Cities. I can't wait!!
