Ft Lauderdale

Steven and I along with his parents left last Sunday for Ft Lauderdale. We had a great time shopping, eating, and visiting with Steven's family.
Monday afternoon, we headed over to Bayside in Miami. We had dinner at Lombardi's and then the guys walked over to the arena to watch the Miami Heat Basketball game. The rest of us walked around Bayside a little longer and then went back home.

Tuesday, while the guys went golfing, the girls hit Sawgrass Mall. On our way into the mall, we dropped the kids (all but Carson) at Wannado City. This is the coolest place for kids. Although I did not go into Wanndo City, the kids told me all about it. It is an entertainment park with a small size hospital, bank, fire station, radio station, newspaper, theater, etc for kids to play "grown up" to help them determine what they wanna be they grow up. Very cool place...check out their website.

After shopping and golfing, we went to Dave & Buster's later that day for a night of fun and games.

Wednesday morning, Steven and I took a ride down to the beach. We walked around town and then had lunch at a local restaurant.

We celebrated Thanksgiving on Wednesday night at Amber and Jerry's house.

wouldn't you like to have this pool in your backyard?

Several attempts at a group pic of the kids...

Happy Birthday Wendi & Margaret!

Last weekend, two special friends celebrated their 30th birthdays...
Friday night, we met some friends at Sumo for Wendi's birthday.

*****

Then, on Saturday night, we met at Gian Marco's for Margaret's surprise birthday dinner. Steven took me here for my 30th birthday and this has definitely become a favorite place for us to eat.

To say that Margaret was surprised was an understatement! She thought it was going to be just her, Jared, and Lauren, her friend from out of town going to dinner, until she entered the restaurant and saw all of us waiting on her (enlarge the pic so you can see the look on her face).

Happy 30th birthday to Wendi & Margaret!

Brook's pageant

Brook did so good today in the Queen Merry Christmas pageant. It was exciting to see her win both most photogenic and prettiest dress. She was so proud to be well represented with her fan club that was there this afernoon.

Bama MSU Game

I spent most of my time on Saturday trying to keep warm and therefore did not take any pictures...I know you all are so disappointed. It was crazy how cool is was yesterday, considering it was 70 degress on Friday night.

Bama LSU Game

We went over to the Beasley's last night to watch the Bama game.
I did not take one single picture during the game (in case you didn't watch, it was a little intense), so I took a few of us hanging out after the game.
Missy's neighbor is a huge LSU fan, so she told him last weekend that she was going to roll his yard if Bama won...so she didn't let him down. Missy, the kids and I piled in the car after the game was over and added a little decor to his yard. The kids had the best time!! Sorry, no pictures, I don't want to completely ruin our identity.

it is amazing to see how good Austin is at this

Cheryl had a small gathering yesterday with family and a few friends to celebrate their birthday. I can't believe these babies are already two years old! They had the best time opening presents and eating cake.

Bama Homecoming

Here are a few pics from Homecoming yesterday in Tuscaloosa...

Also, a big thanks to Texas Tech for beating Texas last night and allowing Bama to move up to the #1 spot! I am so excited!

Happy Halloween

After work Friday, I went over to the Beasley's to see all of the kids dressed up for Halloween. Cheryl had also brought Luke and Lexie over too. I haven't seen the twins in several months...can't believe they'll be two years old next week!

I know this picture is dark, but these were all of the people hanging out in Tim and Missy's cul-de-sac Friday night. They had a hayride for the kids taking them around the neighborhood trick or treating while all of the adults hung out around the heaters.

Hope everyone had a great Halloween!
