Austin's baseball game

Here are a few pics from Austin's baseball game this afternoon...

If you've read Kristen's blog, you'll see some familiar pictures posted below....she was a little quicker at posting her pictures.
Also, just in case you were wondering...Steven did wear the lucky shirt again on Saturday night...and Bama did come out with another win. Sorry, no pictures to document this event, but we did watch the game with our friends, Benji and Shannon, and their two girls. We were so caught up in the excitement, that I forgot to take pictures.
Roll Tide!!

Grandma's house

We spent part of the day Saturday getting Grandma's new house in order. Since I'm not much on yardwork (I know, what a surprise) I opted for the indoor activities as well as being the official photographer. Kristen gets a high five for the wonderful job she did cutting the grass. If I had attempted that, it would have turned into a disaster I'm sure.
Kristen and I did get the hall all taped up and ready to be painted, while the guys were out running errands.

Hoover Homecoming

Friday night I met Kristen and we went to Hoover's Homecoming game. It sure is nice going with the coach's wife...free parking, free food before the game and free admission.
It makes me feel so old going back to Hoover's football games...of course I have been out of high school for 12 years now!

Bama Arkansas Game

We headed up to see Steven's parents on Saturday morning to watch the Bama game and hang out with them for a little while.
Watching the game at Toot's and Fred's
(wearing the lucky shirt of course)
After the game, we went to Brent and Tara's to meet a few others and watch the Auburn/LSU game. We went to church with them Sunday morning and then to lunch afterwards at PF Chang's located at a new shopping center in Huntsville . Luckily, Tara and I were able to persuade the guys to let us go into a few shops after lunch. We hope to go back there soon, and take a ride on the gondola and do some more shopping.

Bama Western Kentucky Game

Saturday night we went over to the Beasley's to watch the Bama game. Since the Alabama and Auburn games were both on at the same time, we had the Bama game on the big screen and the Auburn game on a smaller television sitting on the bar...a little obsessive, I know.
Also, you may notice that Steven is wearing the same shirt that he has on in the post below. Since Bama beat Clemson when he wore this shirt, he now considers this his lucky shirt, and will probably wear this to every game this season...he's worn it to the first three so far. So, I guess I'll just get used to him having this shirt on in any pictures that will be taken the rest of the football season.

Brook provided us with a little entertainment during the game. She was practicing some of her gymnastics as well as sharing a few cheers with us. She's quite the entertainer, and is so funny! The neighbors next door are Auburn fans, and she kept calling them during the game and telling them Roll Tide! Then at the end of the game, she called them and said, "was that a baseball game or a football game that Auburn just played?"

Brook thought it would be cute for Steven to wear her hair bow as a bow tie...Steven was quite cooperative and let me take his picture.

Missy and Steven doing some dancin' after the game.

Bama Clemson Game

We had a great time in Atlanta this weekend at the Bama Clemson game. The game was a lot of fun and being inside the Georgia Dome was so nice, especially since it was SO hot outside. And of course Bama played a great game as well!!
We saw this sign as soon as we got off the interstate and it just cracked us up. I couldn't get my camera out fast enough before the traffic light turned green, but no worries, there was another sign on the next corner.

A few pics from the day... if you look very closely in the picture on the middle row on the right, you can see the field goal that Bama kicked. It took me a few pics to actually capture the football in the picture.

Celebrating a Tide victory!
