If we weren't tired enough from a long day on Saturday in Tuscaloosa, we went to the race yesterday in Talladega with our good friends Margaret and Jared. We had a great time with them and as well as some of Margaret's family and friends that were in town from Louisiana.
It just gives me the creeps at the thought of using one of these. I guess for the die hard race fans that camp out at Dega all week, a hot shower for $5 is totally worth it.
Just get me a room at the Holiday Inn, and I will be fine.
For the non-race fans, the guy in the bottom two pictures is Robby Gordon. I'll be honest, I had no idea who he was. Margaret just looked over at me and said hand me your camera, so I did.

There was a group of guys sitting up behind us somewhere that had these shirts on. I kept trying to read them as they would walk down the steps and I just couldn't figure out what the shirt said. Later on, we had walked down to take a restroom break and I spotted one from the group, so I decided to get his picture...luckily, he didn't have a clue that I was doing.
What a cute picture!
I am now a true "red neck" with my nice sunburn. It was way hotter than I had really thought it would be...should have worn a sleevless top so that I could have gotten more sun instead of just on my neck and face.

Fun times at dega!! Now if our plumbing ever goes out I know where we can get a nice shower.
