The Rest of October

We spent a few days in Gatlinburg...

It wasn't too crowded so we were able to do pretty much what we wanted and even road the carousel...the first time in quite a while...and braved the roller coasters in the 30 degree temps.  I did have four layers of clothes in the these pictures :)

Saturday morning we tried something new and hiked/walked up Laurel Falls.  It was nice walk and of course the falls at the top were beautiful.  There was an option to keep walking up to the next falls, but we stopped her for a few pictures, then made our way back down.

Our last night, we enjoyed dinner downtown, before heading back home the next morning.

A few days later we celebrated Halloween with a little Trunk of Treating

and then some pumpkin carving to celebrate Amy's birthday

Love me some pumpkin carving!

Those falls are so pretty. I want to do that sometime. Thanks for hanging out with us at trunk or treat. It was fun. You did a good job on your pumpkin!!
