Hoover Vestavia Game

Friday night was the big Hoover Vestavia game at Region's Park. Vestavia is one of Hoover's rivals, so this game is always a big deal every year. This game was also part of the Great American Rivalry Series sponsored by the Marine Corps.
Unfortunately, Hoover did not come away with the win, but they did make a good come back from being down by several touchdowns.
It was also Alumni Night...Kristen of course had to make a big deal that I graduated from Hoover many years ago! (It does seem like that has been so long ago).

Kris--on the way out there were masses of people, so we took these pics on the way in when we ran into mom and dad.
Wendi--I hadn't even noticed mom's gloves, but it does look like she is trying to cover up that she only has on one. This was quite an impromtu photo, so everyone was not prepared...as you can see dad is in the middle of chewing his food :)
