Amy's Bachelorette/Lingerie party

Last weekend was Amy's bachelorette/lingerie shower at the beach. The weather didn't quite cooperate while we were down there, but we had a great time anyways.

Happy Birthday Mom!

Happy Birthday to my wonderful Mom today!
I'm not sure how she had any fun celebrating her birthday this past weekend, without me, but I guess she managed.
Hope you had a great day today Mom! Bring that vacuum over here so I can test it out...my carpet/floor will put it to work.

this picture still cracks me up...

Happy Birthday Mere

Happy Birthday Mere!
I decided against posting a bunch of pictures from when we were in high school...even though I know everyone would have enjoyed that.
Hope you have a great birthday today! Hope to see you and the girls again soon!!

Doretta's birthday

Last night, we celebrated Doretta's birthday at Jim n Nick's.
Hope you had a great birthday yesterday Doretta!!

Michael's graduation

Wednesday night, I attended Michael's high school graduation with the Cash family.
I cannot believe this boy has finished high school! I started baby sitting Michael and Haley when Micheal was 3, Haley 6. They make me feel so old (I guess I am getting old)!

patiently waiting for the ceremony to start

marching in...all 500 of them!

Michael accepting his diploma

It's official...they're graduates.
So they all toss their hats in the air and at the same time, there are a million little bouncy balls flying everywhere...all of the graduates had pockets full of them...it was hilarious!!

Happy Birthday Toots

Saturday Steven and I went headed up to Arab to celebrate Toot's birthday (which is today) and Mother's Day. Kim, a friend of her's, had some friends over to her house to help celebrate. She had it decorated so cute and festive (and somehow I managed to not get very many pictures of the decor).

We hung outside on the porch and by the pool until the weather made us go inside.

Mother's Day

Yesterday, Kristen and I cooked lunch for Mom and Kristen and Matt's house.

Mom reading the card that I gave her

If you've seen Kristen's blog, then you've seen the cards my mom is holding.
The one in her right hand says, "Happy Mother's from your favorite" and inside it says, "oh please, it's so obvious"
Kristen and I are always giving each other a hard time about each of us being the favorite child, so when I saw this in Hallmark, I just had to get it, because I knew how much Kristen would love it!!

Mom, we hope you had a great Mother's Day!

Amy & Matt's Luau party

Saturday night, we had a couples luau for Amy & Matt. The decorations turned out so cute and everyone enjoyed having their picture made in the cardboard cut out.
Don't you just love these hats?

Getting all the food ready...

the bride and groom to be...don't they look cute in their bras and skirts?

Matt and Amy with the hostesses

poor little monkey had a hole in him, so several people decided he could just be one of the guests, so he hung on the deck most of the evening

yummy cookie cake

these cupcakes turned out adorable...wish I could say that I made them...

Amy's Bridal Tea

Last Sunday (yes, the day we came home from the beach), Mom hosted Amy's bridal tea at her house. There was a great turnout, and Amy and Matt got lots of great stuff!

I was really obsessed with Ruth Ann's camera at the tea, so I really did not get a lot of pictures with my camera.

Harley and Domino were just dying to come upstairs and see everyone, but no dogs allowed at a bridal tea, so they had to stay downstairs with Dad

Dad was downstairs watching the race and babysitting the dogs...he heard all the fun we were having upstairs and just had to come up and socialize with everyone...so we let him
